If so, was she originally Josephine HEALD or DAWSON? born when? RC Hi RC According to the records I have found about Josephine, she was born 1876 (most likely) possibly 1877 or 1878...I am sure I saw a census, probably after she married Sunol Baxter, that noted Nov 1876...Her birth name as far as I know was Josephine Dawson Heald,--She reports her marriage to my GGrandfather is her 1st husband--I cannot find her anywhere prior to 19 June 1901 (I am waiting for the marriage cert) when she married my GGrandfather. My GGrandfather died Aug 17, 1903 --his son, my Grandfather, was only about 3 weeks old, born on 30 July 1903. I have no idea how/why he died. After My GGrandfather died, (George Fleury) Josephine married Sunol Baxter, both of whom I have found on all available Fed Census, 1920 & 1930. I know where she was buried, Greenwood Cemetery, next to my GGrandfather.--no questions after 1910...just thought it would be nice to know what that organization was about. ( I like to know about folks, as well as statistics)... she was deputy State Councilor for Sons an Daughters of Liberty, for Council Hope #5, signed May 31, 1928...Her name at that point would have been (Josephine Dawson Heald FleuryBaxter)if you string all the names together. I am basically looking for any info on her prior to 1901 and anything that will give a clue about who her family was, where she was born etc. Just thought it would be interesting to find out more about the org as she was Deputy State Councilor... My GGGrandfather Robert D Fleury, was the printer, and his whole family was. I do not know where he was prior to 1870--He died in 1875 and I have all the family tracked since. I do not know where Robert D Fleury was. Sorry if I confused you, I am researching many folks on different levels...and plan to go back as far as I can...My GGGrandfather and GGGrandmother were born in Ireland...now THERE is gong to be a hunt LOL Thanks for allowing me to clarify the story Joyce _http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/p/r/e/Joyce-Presnall/WEBSITE-0001/ UHP-Index.html_ (http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/p/r/e/Joyce-Presnall/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-Index.html) My Gedcom site on Genealogy.com.
