Hi, Looking for anyone to connect with my Hoyt family: Justus b. 1800 in Vermont (Parents unknown) Married about 1825 (where unknown) Spouse: unknown Justus and his wife lived in CanadaWest? had 3 children, Caroline born abt. 1829, Orin W. born 1832, and Lavina born 1837. Justus remarried about 1845 to Mary ???? born 1825. They were in the 1850 NY Census in Hannibal Twp, Oswego County. Had 3 children listed. Harriet b. 1845 NY, Sarah b 1848 NY, and Mary b. 1850 NY. His son; Orin from his first marriage was married to Jane Carpenter on 1855 in Oswego Co., NY. After 1856 Justus, Mary, children, and his son Orin and his wife moved to Branch Co., MI. They were on the 1860 census along with Justus other daughter Caroline who married John Hackett. Lavina wasn't listed until later in Branch County. Then Justus moved to Mill Grove, Steuben Co., IN by 1880 with is family and Orin stayed in Coldwater, Branch Co., MI plus Caroline (Hoyt) Hackett and her family also moved to Mill Grove.
