You can get a license in any town in NY then get married anywhere in NY State. Our license came from Town of Thompson we were married in the Town of Neversink by a Town of Fallsburg Justice. It is filed in Town of Thompson & Albany. My cousin got her license in Town of Wallkill but was married in the Town of Neversink by a Town of Fallsburgh Justice.
