Morris, Livingston County, N.Y., the sound is described like that of a rolling of a heavy wagon, and as somewhat between a crash of falling rocks. The houses in the village were violently shaken. In some places doors were unlatched and crockery thrown down. -- Cindy Amrhein Town of Alabama Historian Genesee Co., NY ********************** Historian's Page - Alabama, NY http://www2.pcom.net/cinjod/historian/ Experience the town of Alabama in Genesee County, New York.
