For those of you who have already visited my NY COUNTIES web page http://sites.netscape.net/srowans/county.html - I have removed the military links from this page and reposted them on a new page. I have found many more sites that cover military information including rosters from many of these units that I decided to add a separate page. It can be found at http://sites.netscape.net/srowans/military.html. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions from anyone visiting these pages to make them easier to use. If you have any sites that I have not included and you would like me to please let me know and I would be more than happy to do it.

What a marvelous site! Naturally, MY county has nothing - but I'm getting used to that - and it is certainly not the fault of this site - only the county I'm researching. David, Dumont is in Bergen County, New Jersey. There is a Kinderkamack Road that runs through several Bergen County towns. The ONLY Spring Valley I know of in that area is in Rockland County, New York. HTH Pat _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. My SMALLEY ancestors lived in East Fishkill (Dutchess Co.) and most likely died in the mid-late 1800s. I found the following cemeteries in that area via <http://yp4.superpages.com/listings.phtml?CID=65530214400&C=Cemeteries&PG=L&STYPE=S&R=N&SRC=lycos&S=NY&PM=00fff9fe&LC=350&NA=&PI=1&search=&rtd=yp7.superpages.com> Fishkill Rural Cemetery 2296 Route 9, Fishkill, NY 12524 (914) 896-6227 Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery 342 South Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (914) 454-6020 I'd appreciate knowing if these were established during the time frame mentioned above, and also if there are others in the area that I should be aware of. I want to find their burial locations and death dates. TIA, Shirley in the beautiful Pacific Northwest
