>"Vital Records of Woestina Reformed Church (Rotterdam, N.Y.) And >Glenville Reformed Church 1800-1899", by A.C.M. Kelly >The name is Fanny Cripps, died 14th Apr 1883, and buried at Woestina >Cemetery, and I guess any other Cripps surnames buried around this time. The book lists her as Miss Fannie, age 26y, died April 19. It's in the index to deaths in the Glenville Reformed Church, however, not Woestina. Hello all, Just thought I'd let you know I added 9 more ships (around 400 or so more Italian and German passengers) to my ship list page. The page also has Irish passenger lists, and a Scottish ship list. Over 70 ships on-site, plus of course links to the massive ship sites like Olive Tree and Ship Transcribers Guild which house thousands. Hope this helps you find your elusive immigrant ancestors! http://khuish.tripod.com/ Click on "Ship Passenger Lists" in the table of links Tip: There's a search feature on the page, but keep in mind how much names changed, or were just plain messed up due to phonetic spelling at the ports. For some time I have been trying to track down Nancy Moore, dau of John & Esther (Holmes) Moore but have been unsuccessful. From the Rev. War Pension Abstract book, Nancy was married to a [Mr.] Wager, of Ithaca, NY and in her affidavit dated 30 Apr 1844 she was aged 55. I have searched everything that is possible to do from here, including census records and have yet to find her. I feel this ties into my own Wager family of Tompkins County, but have no idea of how. Queries placed on the web sites for this county have yielded nothing. Perhaps a Moore descendant has an answer for me? Olive California

I am trying to find descendants of Virgil P IRONS b 1835 NY - 1912 Toledo OH 2nd wife Ella BOOTH - 1915 OH children George L IRONS b 1868 NY E Huntington IRONS b 1870 NY Leonora b 1882 NY or OH (m. Harry BEERS) Florence B b 1883 NY or OH I just learned about the two boys a few days ago, and this is the first time I had heard of a connection to Seneca Falls NY. In 1870 Virgil and Ella and the 2 boys were in Seneca Falls. I suspect that they did not live in that area very long, but don't know when they moved to OH; just that Virgil, Ella and the 2 girls were in Toledo in 1910. The 2 boys were not enumerated with Virgil in 1910. Where were they? Married? Moved away? To where? Virgil was born in Cazenovia, Madison, NY, the first of 9 children of John F IRONS and Mary M CALKINS. Did any of Virgil and Ella's children leave descendants? Even a negative would help. Any help tracing Virgil and Ella's descendants greatly appreciated. Marty Irons

> Does any one know if the list of prisoners taken by the > French and Indians at the 1690 raid on Schenectady > (Corlard) is available in any book source or from any > on-line site? > Have you tried Edmund B. O'Callaghan, ed., _The Documentary History of the State of New York_, 4 vols. (Albany, 1849-1851)? Vol. I: 297-312, covers this raid. Probably available at the New York State Library; I don't know where else. Douglas Edward Leach, _Arms for Empire: A Military History of the British Colonies in North America, 1607-1763_ (New York, 1973), cites O'Callaghan. Leach says 27 male prisoners were carried off by the French and Indians. Russell
