Is there anyone in Sweden who is able or willing to check on an individual that lives there? We on the Norway-L rootsweb list have been using a wonderful translating program called "Tolken 99", created and sold by a Swedish gentleman by the name of Borje Hagsten, whose address is given as: (Borje Hagsten) Hagsten&Co Mickeberg 273 91 Lovestad SWEDEN For the past year or so, no one has been able to contact him or seems to be monitoring his email addresses or websites, one of which is: http://www.tolkenxp.com/regist_e.htm We have many members who wish to purchase and use this excellent program, as well as people who have done so and lost their registration numbers and need to obtain the information from him, but we have received no responses to our emails and requests. The emails have not bounced, but no response has been given. Is there some kind soul who is willing to check and see of this man is still alive, or seriously ill; and if so, if anyone in the family is willing or able to take over in his place so that our members can legally purchase and use this program? We do not wish to share the program amongst ourselves and deprive the author or his family from the proceeds he is entitled to for his work, which some are advocating since no one seems to be able to purchase the program anymore. Borje himself is or was fluent in English, and we corresponded in the past many times. He has not responded to any of my inquiries and I very much fear that something has happened, but I know nothing about his personal life and do not know if he has a wife or family, and am hesitant to attempt to call Sweden as I cannot converse in Swedish and fear that if anyone answers the phone and cannot speak English, we will not be able to communicate.
