BlankIs there a website that shows a map(s) of Norway and all the parish borders (old names & new)? Specifically I was looking for Finaas in Hordaland. I know where it is, approx., but would like to see a map of ALL parishes in ALL fylker. MVH, Phil

Check out http://www.norge.no/ and click on "Kart" (maps) You can click on the Fylke you're interested in, and then this will show you that map, with the parishes as they currently are. (note: I don't see Finaas in this map). Once you do find the Parish you want, you can select it in the "Velg kommune" menu to see a map of that parish. Another resource might be the 1801 census pages, which I seem to recall have a "old name/current name" page (...somewhere). Between that, and the maps at norge.no, perhaps you'll be able to find what you're after. Hope this helps, Dave Hinz
