<English version - Swedish version further down> Hi -- Looking for information on Emil KRON, born approximately 1870 or 1871 in Sweden, dead 1933 in Riverside township, Clay County, South Dakota State, USA. Emil Kron can be found in the 1910 US Federal Census for Riverside, Clay, SD, listed as being 39 years old (ie born around 1871), married to Hulda C Kron, and having five children, of which the oldest was 11 years old in 1910, ie born around 1899. The 1910 census says he was born in Sweden, both parents born in Sweden, and immigrated to the US in 189x (last digit illegible, the 9 also uncertain). He is also listed in the US Federal censuses in 1920 (erronously transcribed as Emil KROM at ancestry.com) and 1930 (erronously tran- scribed as Emil KROM at ancestry.com), but the family is easily recog- nizable from first names and ages from the 1910 to 1920 to 1930 census. According to US immigration records there is a *possible* match in Emil A Kron, Swedish citizen, age about right (born around 1871), who arrived in New York aboard the steamer "City of Berlin" on July 29th 1889, last ports of call Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland. Certainly a possible route for an emigrant from Sweden to the US as late as 1889 or thereabouts. Any idea about where I start looking for more information on Emil Kron in Swedish sources ?
