You have the reverse of my problem where I know almost everything about my g-grandfather in the USA and back to the port of Copenhagen in 1879, but have no way to find out what parish he came from in Sweden. Unfortunately, your search is difficult because they are women whose names would change when they married and who also had a very common name. If I were you I would post a lookup request for them on the CD-EMIGRANTEN. Here is a description of what it contains. http://longstrom.com/immigrationinformation.htm Perhaps someone who has the CD will read your post and let you know if they are included on the CD. You may be able to find out their intended destination in the USA. I would also request a lookup in the Ancestry.com Immigration Collection and/or you could signup for a 14-day trial and do the lookups. If they can be located on a passenger list, there might be more information. Bob
