Dear Fellow Nordic Researchers: I am looking for a family who moved to the Gravenhurst, Ontario region. Several members of this family were Steamship Master/Captains in the Bracebridge-Bala area of the Muskoka Lakes circa 1835- 1919. Due to language differences or due to poor handwriting; the last name is sometimes spelled "Lawson" instead of Larson or Larsen! I had no idea when I signed up for this site that there would be this many postings. Although I find a great many of them interesting; I do not presently have the time to read them. 1.
