You are quite right about automated translations - you can never be certain that you have the correct translation that way, and the sentences tend to be a bit garbled. That said, I used Tolken several years ago and was very impressed. Part of that is due to Tolken translating phrases first, thus avoiding some of the traps many other automated translators fall into. As an aid (ie. for people who can translate a bit already - or to get people started) Tolken is one of the better tools. Add Einar Haugen's dictionary to that and you will get far, imho. Marianne
