For those of you that read Norwegian, there is an article today in Aftenposten online that says unequivocally that a man can trace his ancestors all the way back to Halvdan Svarte and even gives a list of the lineage. I am a total amateur when it comes to geneology, but from what I have read on this newsgroup, I thought there was no concrete proof of lineage that far back. Comments? Marianne
