The more explicit you make your search, the less likely there will be a hit - that's because any difference in any field will result in "not found." Start with more general searches and gradually refine them. Surname only, then surname and first name, etc. At least this way you know if there ANY persons in the database that may match. Finally, there is no guarantee that anyone will find any of their ancestors at this or any other web site. If someone hasn't researched it before or the records on your family haven't been microfilmed and extracted, then there will be nothing. Regards, Richard A.
