Hello Pat - There was a small article in Opland Arbeiderblad (a local newspaper) on October 16th 1948 on the occasion of the birthday (60 years) on Adolf Wiik on the day before (October 15th). His address was Bøverbru. In his youth he had worked as a lumberman and later he worked for a number of years as a bricklayer. In 1932 he started to work at Sandbakkens Kalkverker where he was still working in 1948 when this article was written. He also was working his farm Engelstad in V. Toten.
