I'm living in Copenhagen Denmark, and I'm searching a branch of my family who have immigrated to Davenport, Iowa. Recently I found new information about decendants of the until now lost part of the family : http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ia/ScottBios/917 a page on : Scott County Biographies about one of the decendants in the family : Alfred Christian Mueller, born 14/6 1875 in Davenport The biographie tells this about him (and much more) : Returning to Davenport, he became associated with the Mueller Lumber Company as auditor, but in 1903 entered actively upon the practice of law and became the successor of his cousin, Alfred Claussen, thus continuing the firm which was founded by his grandfather. This grandfather was : Hans Reimer Claussen, born in Schleswig Holstein 1804 married to Anna Rahbeck, born in Copenhagen (my relative). >From the biographi I can see that they had at least 2 children : Ernest born in 1833 and Alfrieda Claussen. Alfreida Clausen was married to Christian Mueller , and they had the son : Alfred Christian Mueller, born 14/6 1895 in Davenport, and he again was married to Lulu May Ellsworth in 1903.
