Greetings listers. I have finally settled in to my new house. The move to Ohio went well. I changed my email address - it use to be (crash7200@aol.com). During my move I received by gggrandfather's old sea chest. On it is painted Petter O. Frydenberg. We previously thought his name was Peter Olsen Friedenburg. We know that he came from the Frederikstad area. If anyone has information on Frydenberg in the Glemmen area it would be most appreciated. Petter O. Frydenberg (Peter Olaf Olsen Hauge) was born in 1847 time frame. Married in 1870 Katherine Mathiasdtr Faller she was born ca 1846 daughter Anne Olivia Pedersdtr Hauge b.1870 in Onso, Norway - according to church records. Other Children - Martin Gunerius, Karl Olaf, Frederick, Hanna, Gustave, & Petter. I have emigration records of this family leaving Frederikstad on April 14th 1888 on the Kristiania bound for Amsterdam. I can't find them entering the US. Any help would be appreciated.
