The National Archives of Canada is performing a survey until January 15th. This survey will help determine what material the NAC will put on the web in the future as part of their digitalized collections. Some of their proposed projects will be of more interest to genealogists than others. If you would like to complete this survey, it can be found at: http://www.archives.ca/exec/naweb.dll?fs&0104&e&top&0 In light of the attempts of Canada's Privacy Commissioner to suppress all data, in perpetuity, from any post-1901 Census, I feel that it would be most helpful if as many people as possible could fill out this survey and EMPHASIZE how necessary it is that the censuses be kept accessble and that *post-1901 censuses be made available as soon as possible*.
