I continue to seek any information...whatsoever, on my father (Fred Arne Palmer), son of, born of Frederick Palmer and Emelia Wilander, somewhere in Finland, "sometime in 1901. This continues to be a difficult search. nothing really tangible thus far, but I hold out hope that sopmething as simple as a birthdate would move this search along with new found vigor! Richard W. Hei Richard, Do you have any photos that were taken of your people, while still in Finland? I had great luck with a couple of photos - on the bottom was the photographer and the name of the town in Finland where he worked. I put an "ad" in this site, and a person in Finland saw it, and said to send the query to the newspaper in the town where the photo was taken - to make a long story short, I received family trees back to the 1500's!
