I appreciate it. There is living family in Flom, Minnesota if anyone in Norway is interested in making contact with them. They descend from Hans Hansen Korsgaden b. 1849. I also have information on Iver's family in the USA and Lars'. Feel free to contact me if anyone in Norway is searching for them. I am checking Wisonsin as I think that is where they married and had their first children. My husband also has ancestor's from Sødorp parish in Nord Fron. They were living on the Skansgaard/Skandsgaard Farm in the 1865/1875 census of Norway. There are also some other people that live in the Flom area that come from Nord Fron. They bought Korsgaden 1838. They had 9 children: Rønnaug 1830, Anna 33, Tosten 35, Ragnhild 38, Ole 42, Marit 45, Lars 47, Hans 49, Iver 53. Lars and Hans emigrated to USA in May 1871. They are both registered as bachelors, Hans and Mary/Ronnaug therefor must have married in USA. I cannot find any Rønnaug or Mary Knutsdotter baptized or confirmed in Fron who can be the woman who married Hans. Five of the other nine children were married and have relatives in this area.
