Greetings, I seek ancestry (or any other data) for my great-great grandmother Marit Johannesdatter Slettfjerding. She married Lars Olsen Ronning b. 1806, who owned the farm Ronningen Indre Bugge, Nesset, Møre og Romsdal. They had 5 children together. Kari Ronning b. 4 Oct 1832 Marit Ronning b. 1834 Ingeborg Ronning b. 1 July 1837 Ola Larsen Ronning b. 16 June 1840 my great grandfather Johannes Ronning b. 25 April 1843 Lars Olsen Ronning descended from Ola Erlandsen Ronning b. 1771, d. 1807. Ola married Kari Larsdatter Bugge b. and bought the farm Ronningen, from Kari's father, Lars Bardsson b. 1752. Ola descended from Erland Erlandson Roysgjerd b. 1722, d. 1812. This is as far as I have the Ronning side. Thank you, Todd Ronning Two Harbors, Minnesota

If someone could help me order the correct film numbers for above people/events I would be most grateful thank you roma@ihug.co.nz
Hi.. I don't have the number of the film, sorry. But the film to look for is: Lunde sogn (parish), Lunde herred (district), Odense amt (county) DÅB / DAAB (baptisms) and VIEDE / COPULEREDE (marriages) the word DÅB (can you read the danish circle-A ? ) can also be spelled with two regular A's and the word VIEDE was in the old days COPULEREDE. "Pride of ancestry is not to be confused with pride of birth. The former is an unselfish emotion, while the possessor of the latter is probably a snob. Nor is oneŽs interest in oneŽs forefathers restricted to those who reflect honor on their descendants, but rather it is a longing to know the history of those whose blood flows in our veins to preserve humbly our links with the past in hopes that our children may perform the same act of filial love for us." "Royal descent implies the possession of distinguised historical personages as ancestors - men and woman whose achievements are recorded in the pages of history - not only emperors and kings, but statesmen and warriors who have made history. It is true that the quantity of these ancestorŽs blood that flows in any descendantŽs veins must be infinitesimally small, but so is the blood of that distant paternal ancestor. Though we may have but little of their blood coursing in our veins, yet we are proud of being descended from them, for they are our lineal ancestors. Furthermore, probably we have as much of their blood as any other person now living." CharlemagneŽs Descendants gives those who have established their own lineage to Charlemagne thé opportunity to link their lineage with other CharlemagneŽs descendants. So why donŽt you? The only thing you have to do is to send your detailed lineage (including dates and used sources) for publication on CharlemagneŽs Descendants. [Please write your lineage in the same format as the other lineages of CharlemagneŽs Descendants, so that it will be an easy "copy and past-job" to put your lineage on the web.] See for yourselve, at CharlemagneŽs Descendants: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Cottage/3610/Charlemagne/Charlemagne.htm

Nils Ivarson had the farm from 1798. After him his son Ivar Nilsson, who was married to Golla Monsdatter. In 1847 Johannes Anderson bought the farm at auction and after his death in1873 his stepson Jon Jensson took over and he sold the farm in 1880 to Johannes Jensson Vang." I.e. there is no sign of a Peder at Little Ulvin and I checked the other Ulvin farms as well, there are 6 of them, and no luck. In one of the smallholdings under Little Ulvin, Hagen, there is an Jon Arnson who in 1833 took over after his father Arn Johanson, b. 1758. Is this of interest? If you read Norwegian I can scan the page and email you? Good luck, Svein
Mornin listers, am searching for the Arnsen/Arnssen, Jonsen, Jonssen, Ulvin family who lived at Yetteroy then bought Ulvinlittl. Need any and all help on son Peder born 1851 who was on the Nordic farm in 1865. Thanx. Viola.
Please forget my last message. A new check of my sources shows that Sissel Marie Nilsdatter SCHJELDERUP (b.1757) was daughter of Nils Andersen SCHJELDERUP as I said in my first mail. Nils was son of Anders Jensen SCHJELDERUP (abt.1684-1750) and Sissel Hansdatter FINVEDGAARD (bef.1700-1751). Anders was a brother of the rector in Hamarøy, Nils Jensen SCHJELDERUP. Knut Bryn, Molde
Knut Bryn; cc: Simon Ellefsen Jeg har Nils Jensen Schjelderup (1680-1742). s.pr. Hamarøy, g. (1. gang ?) m. Karen Iversdatter Wolf, f. 1672, Ervik, Harstad (Trondenes), datter av Iver Hansen Wolf og Maren Paulsdatter Haderslev. Iflg. (Kilde digitalarkivet Universitetet i Bergen). Jeg er svært interessert om du ser noen link. mvh Eystein "Martin Bjarklev" <martin@bjarklev.dk> skrev i melding news:BA1D5.1195$u23.66120@news000.worldonline.dk... > Hej. > > Jeg har en del på Krohn i Tyskland / Danmark. Hej Jag skulle bli väldigt glad om någon gjorde sig besväret att kolla upp följande i den senaste upplagan av dödsboken: all tillgänglig info (spec födelseort) om Anna Kristina Sahlberg född 1904-09-15 och dog 1998-03-08. Tack på förhand. -- Lasse lars.sahlberg@swipnet.se
I have just updated by Family Tree online. I have added more than 100 members of the Graham Family, going back to Andrew Graham of South Carolina who fought in the American Revolutionary War. I am primarily Swedish and Irish. Both sides of my family have Swedish and Irish ancestors, with some Scot and English mixed in. I now have 641 names on my family tree. They can be seen starting at http://www.anusha.com/sloanjac.htm http://www.anusha.com/sloanjac.ged or at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=samsloan&id=I559 On my father's side I am Irish, but I have not been able to trace back beyond my grandfather.
