Hello, In going through the following, I would like to find out what "Døpt" means. Is this a birth date or something else such as christening? I would also appreciate it if someone could correct some of the following in case I have them wrong: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Peder Pederson Teigen (occupation) Yrke: Kårmann på Teigen under Sandvik, Luster (born) Født: 1809 Dulsviki under Lingjerde (?)
Hi there, I am trying to find out the roots of Jaedig. There are some similar names such as Jedig, Jädig or Jædig. The latest I know is that there lived Jaedig's near Königsberg (today Kaliningrad) up until 1940. However, i more and more get the impression, that it could be a scandinavian name. Any help is welcome. Thanks a lot in advance !

Hi there I am a newbie at this list -but I belong to the Norway-L listers. I am looking for the family that is related to my great grandfather Andreas Vilhelm Henriksen born 1846 in Karunki Finland/Svarige border. His father was Henrik Johansen from the farm in Mandaringit. We are unable to find his family...all I know is that he married my great grandmother Josefine Fredriksdatter Karlstrom...but I have the info for that side. I know that My great grandfather was a blacksmith and made a padlock for my grandfather when he decided to immigrate to the United States...one of the brothers of my AVH was a Coffin Maker and Carpenter...and still one other brother was a blacksmith as well. And there is another thing...they were psychic. yours, Malodie Anderson --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
