Hi Jim, I don't know if this is of any worth to you, but many years ago someone told me to keep from having 'bots' take your address book, make the first entry a number instead of a name, a number like 1000. Bots cannot read numbers. I did that and although I have been on some shaky websites knowing full well it was not a safe website, I have not had my address book compromised...don't know if it has prevented hijacking or not, but it hasn't done any harm either...every time I export my address book to another mail program, the #1000 goes too... It may be that is works for some but my &0000!!! at the start of my address book did not stop things, maybe I will try your 1000 and see if that does it. I have had the &0000!!! for years and thought it protected me............BG * Jim Hope* On 09/01/2012 12:29 PM, Lorac wrote: > Hi Jim, I don't know if this is of any worth to you, but many years ago > someone told me to keep from having 'bots' take your address book, make > the first entry a number instead of a name, a number like 1000.
