Marilyn, Thanks for a great, insightful post! A couple of years ago my computer (it had the "Edsel" of operating systems-Millenium) was hit with a virus. Elaine and a gentleman from CA worked with us for days trying to set things right. Jack, an EE, worked with computers his entire career and still, he needed help from GN. He got it for DAYS. My intro. to GN was over 11 yrs. ago, just before Jack's heart attack. The support I rec'd from GN was awesome, useful and comforting. I regret to admit I was a party to one of those periods of discord. I think I learned from it and beg pardon of anyone I offended. Now, if anyone on this list needs help with Catholic Philadelphia I will try! Happy New Year. Mary and those of GN in the Philadelphia area might be interested in the announcement I received today about ancestry.com coming to the Philadelphia area on 3 Mar 2012. I can’t include any attachments on GN, but if any are interested, I can send it to you off-list. Just contact me. Thanks Donna. I do get notices from HSP and they are hosting the event. I think we may be out of town then. Rats!
