    3. Another good list to get on is Pixel of Ink: FreeKindleBooks@PixelofInk.com. Similar to Books on the Knob, but generally has several different books each day. I never can finish a book in the 21 days my library allows and they don't let you renew. So if the book is popular I have to go on a list behind others who were waiting for my rental to stop. It drives me insane that I can read a book I own in a couple of days but can't read a borrowed library book in three weeks. Connie's suggestions were excellent for people who want freebies. I love Books on the Knob, rarely do I not find a book I want for free because of their good newsletter. Elaine Never drive faster than your Guardian Angel can fly. 3. I just signed up to both suggested sites' newsletters, so thanks for these suggestions. I have a new Kindle for Christmas and have had limited time so far trying to figure it all out, though I did use it to watch some Christmas shows in the kitchen while cleaning & cooking :-) I will have to check out how it works with the library, too. My problem with reading is I rarely have the luxury of time and the Kindle doesn't solve that; however, I do like the idea of having any book I would wish to read, for the most part, a few clicks away should I have a little time....it eliminates the drive, etc. I also love that my Fire has the web to surf... yesterday, I was showing Trenton some of the shows available free and he asked to watch an episode of National Geographic's Amazing Planet. He took it to the kitchen and watched it while he was working on a Southern Colony model for a school project due a week after school restarts (we are trying to get him to be less a procrastinator and start projects ahead of the time he thinks he needs; hence some work on this one although he is out on holiday leave). . 3. I am looking at my County's library web site (Fairfax Co., VA) and see that they have workshops scheduled in January to assist people in learning all about ebooks and ereaders: https://va.evanced.info/fairfaxcounty/lib/eventcalendar.asp?kw=ebook&do=0&dt=mo&mo=1/1/2012&df=list&cn=0&private=0&ln=ALL I may sign up for one~ On Sun, Jan 1, 2012 at 8:22 AM, Kathleen B.
