Maxine: You have to go into the tools menu of IE and select google as your search provider, and make it your default search engine..Don't confuse the bing search banner that is on MSN with having to use bing. that banner will be on any page that MSN hosts. type your google query in the same place you would type a URL,,Worse case scenario give me a shout and we can use remote assistance and I'll set it up for you..it has nothing to do with xp just your browser..To change your home page go to the site you want be your home page than select the tools menu again, than select internet options in the next menu select use current page for home page..
