Connie, I'm thinking that they maybe didn't realize that "Juan" is spelled with a "Ju" not a "Wh".... It is pronounced like it should be spelled "Whan" You get into different languages and they don't always spell words they way they are pronounced. I read some place that the name "Jesus" Is pronounced "He-sus"... Whan Thomas Tucker was born in 1919 in Greeley County, Kansas, and died 1927, also Greeley County. He is my 1st cousin once removed, and his parents are long gone and he has no siblings. > > For a long time I thought it might just be a variation, sort of, of Juan, but it has puzzled me a lot. > > Connie > > ******************** > > Gen-Newbie's website: > > http://www.rootsweb.com/~newbie/ > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > ----- > No virus found in this message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 2013.0.2904 / Virus Database: 3162/6271 - Release Date: 04/24/13
