Just today I took off AVG and put ME back on. I had taken ME off because of some reviews, but I really think my computer is running better with it on. I am still experiencing some hangups with mouse and keyboard but nothing like I was. So, maybe if I keep tweaking it will finally start performing. I need to give George credit. What a guy he is! He sent me a page of suggestions which ended up being quite the learning experience. Also the upgrading drivers tool (sorry can't remember the name) made a huge difference as well. I have Malwarebytes and Spybot on my computer. But think I will take off Spybot if I don't need it. I'm like the rest of you, I learn so much from the gen-newbie list. I just read the post to Jack, and appreciate all your comments. I've always used AVG, no problem, but after changing computers, use Avast. Seems to work well. Also use CCleaner and MalawareBytes. Paid small fee for RegCurePro when I was having problems with old computer, and still have license. I've never had major problems although I do a lot of tweaking this and that to bring the computer to exactly what I want. The only thing I am not happy with is Windows Live Mail and how it sends pictures with emails but I'm getting used to it. I read every post that comes through this discussion list. Days pass without anything of interest to me, then all at once you are all discussing something that benefits me. Thank you for administering the list and a big thank you to all the people who respond to the questions. I have learned a lot, just lurking and reading the posts.
