Hi There, Elaine, I just put Advanced Care back on windows 7. When my friend and I were working on my mouse problem he took all my extra programs off. However, with iobit uninstaller I have been able to remove all of AVG that was left except the Folder File which states is empty. Even though I am Administrator of this computer I get the message that I can't remove the folder because only the Administrator can do that. Good grief! So, I guess I really don't know if the junk is gone or not. It's a good thing life moves on to the really important stuff - huh? Thanks for the suggestions and all the help that I receive. Some items are difficult. Shut down completely, then restart, and then see if you can drag the empty folder to the trash bin. I think it will work. I keep several uninstallers on my computers. I do not like those that are very technical and especially don't like those that make one choose which files to delete. The program is supposed to help us dunderheads and tell us which ones should be deleted (that's why I always encourage the use of CCleaner which does check off the files and does suggest making a backup). I think ASC is similarly kind to the user. So use it and be glad there are some programs that don't require that we be experts. Remove can find things that other programs never seem to find. But it is only free for so long and hten one must buy. So don't install it until and unless you have become desperate. I do own it <grin> and right now am requesting a new activation number from the programmer. The program is keyed to the computer and not to the user. Ugh! Elaine What if there were no hypothetical questions? Hello Yvonne On Friday, March 29, 2013, you wrote > Hi There, > Elaine, I just put Advanced Care back on > windows 7.
