    3. Yesterday I asked: Didn't Outlook Express have a spell checker? I see it on the tool bar, but it doesn't know how to spell anything. It questions every word. I don't feel like teaching a spell checker how to spell. I went through the first two paragraphs and added 25 words to the spell checker. Today I looked at Tools, Options, Spelling. The language listed is French (France) That is my only option. No wonder spell checker can't spell any of the words I write. How can I change the language to English (US)? It must be something deeper into the program than Tools. Nancy in Louisiana

    3. Outlook Express has never had a spell checker, and always depended on the spell checker that comes with any word processor program, be it MS Office, Word Perfect or Quick Office. It has not been included in a MS operating system since MS7 (I think).
