I was hoping that would help. Have you run your anti malware programs, too? I use CCleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner and Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Both are free and the GN list has recommended them -- you just need to be sure to download the free versions. You might have something like that that has infected your machine. Otherwise, I do not know how to help with this. I have never had any problems with the Free AVG, or with the trial of the paid version. Hope you find the problem.
