Jerrian - all of our messages to the Rootsweb message lists are captured in an archive per list. Go to http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ and where it says to enter list name, simply put *Gen-Newbie* and it will bring up a list of months/years. Some good stuff in there!!
