Hi Guys, I am one of those who removed Java from my Windows 7. I have not had any problems downloading and reading the census on Ancestry. So, for me I do not need "Java" to use Ancestry. I noted in my Firefox that they automatically "Disabled" my Java. I just checked FireFox again and see the following note "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version." <http://java.com/download> I think that I will wait and upgrade until the Java situation levels out. Yvonne
