Thanks Jim, I looked and haven't been able to find a box with "leaves a copy of the message in g-mail." When I first set up g-mail it wouldn't let me POP to Thunderbird - It IMAP'd instead. I will go back and take a long hard look and see if I have missed leaving a copy of the message in g-mail. I have turned off the Auto-Expunge but wasn't on my computer yesterday so I am not sure if it has solved the problem or not. Sure hope so. Yes, I could not find a box to check for leave a message in Gmail, either. It may be only on the POP options?? Jim, would you tell us just how to get there? Thanks.
