I use Thunderbird on one of my RR accounts with no problem. I keep Thunderbird up to date -- not sure what version I have and can't check at the moment because it is on my laptop I have NEVER gotten anything to tell me it is insecure. I would think maybe that something that you and I are doing is just not quite correct here. I wonder if it has something to do with Account Settings? I set up RR again tonight. But I hesitate to use it as my default email - Thunderbird tells me it is not secure - something to do with encryption. This has not been the computer month for me. Two crashes with my old computer and a bad technician plus a new computer. Oh "Heck a Doodle" as my auntie used to say. Let me know how you come out.
