    3. I think I have a problem with my g-mail account. I went to the web and cleaned out my gmail account this evening. Just now when I opened Thunderbird to write an email all my emails disappeared - zap just like that! All is gone: No Inbox, Sent mail, All mail, or Trash. Under my local Folders I still have emails in Trash and in my individual folders that I have set up. Is this normal? Or! Do I have this G-mail and Thunderbird program email program set up incorrectly. I hate the thought that I am going to periodically lose all my emails. I would appreciate help. Thanks, Yvonne

    3. When I deleted emails in Thunderbird, thinking they would remain on the Gmail website, I lost them all in both places. So, I guess if you delete them in either place, it looks as if you will lose them in both. Too bad!! Joy On 1/24/2013 8:13 PM, Yvonne Strong wrote: > I think I have a problem with my g-mail account. 3. Hi Joy, Well, I guess "Too Bad" - it sure is. I would think maybe that something that you and I are doing is just not quite correct here. I wonder if it has something to do with Account Settings? I set up RR again tonight. But I hesitate to use it as my default email - Thunderbird tells me it is not secure - something to do with encryption. This has not been the computer month for me. Two crashes with my old computer and a bad technician plus a new computer. Oh "Heck a Doodle" as my auntie used to say. Let me know how you come out.
