Try contacting the Los Angeles Public Library. On the library's website I found this: Ask A Librarian Call or fax the infoNow unit of the Central Library for quick answers to your questions between 10 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Friday: Telephone: 213-228-7272 Fax: 213-228-7369 By aware that the library also has an online obituary index that turned up nothing when I queried both "Voget" and the more common "Vogt." It is noted, however, that the index is more complete from the 1970's to present. I have always had good luck searching this way first. There is usually an address for a librarian who will search for you.
