I've posted this fix a few years back: When you send a post to a Rootsweb list, such as Gen-Newbie, Rootsweb sends it out to all on the list but you don't get that post back that you sent. That's frustrating as you have a copy that you sent in your "sent" folder, but you don't if Rootweb actually got it and sent it out unless you check the Rootsweb archives, or if someone comments on your post and it is included. Or at least that's the way it used to work. Gmail thinks someone forged your name on the e-mail, so they delete it outright and don't even put copy in your spam folder. If Gmail is still doing that, I have a fix for that. Does anyone need that fix? Woody http://www.woodworth-ancestors.com http://www.minco-ok.com
Woody, yes! I will take "the fix", please.
