    2. My IE 11 works for everything but videos. It just will not run them on anywhere, including Facebook. I tried numerous fixes with no success. A guru commented on my FB post that IE 11 is very buggy. The bug appears to have started on a security update for IE 11. The way I have to get videos to run is to use Google Chrome or another browser.. I don't know why there has been little or no news discussion about IE 11, but on a grass roots level, it's problems are becoming well known. There are some things I do not like about either one of those, but IE just did not work for me. Maybe you should try one of these free ones, if you cannot get IE to working correctly. To find out which version of any program you are using, open that program go to "Help" and click on "About ......". It will bring up a box that tells what version is installed on your computer. 3. If you are having problems with video on IE9 ,10 or 11. you probable have a problem with adobe flash or adobe flash player. Even if you do have those installed they may nnot be enabled in IE. Use the tool, that looks like a gear to manage add ons to IE and check to see if they are enabled or present. The bug is definitely not in the update, but is a caused by adobe not being up to date. cheers George & the sixpack -----Original Message----- From: BogusWoody@aol.com Sent: Thursday, February 20, 2014 2:19 PM To: gen-newbie@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GN] IE Quits Working My IE 11 works for everything but videos.
