Need more info. When you click on "Computer" and it shows C: drive and your D: and maybe E: drives, does it show the Lexar with a drive letter? If it does you're OK. If the Lexar doesn't show up as one of your drives when you click on "Computer", you have a problem with the Lexar. Drives don't show up on the desktop as far I know. And I don't like to mess with saving stuff on a desktop because my screen is crammed with icons that I use, and anything newly added is hard to notice or find. My technique for saving files to a thumb drive or external drive is to create two half screens with one exposing a folder showing the source, and then I drag a file or highlighted files from the source drive to a destination folder on the other drive. What do I have to do to find and select it so that I can download some information from it? Joyce ********************
