    2. Donna, I don't know what to tell you. It's encouraging to hear from Rick Powell saying that "the fix" worked for him. I've had people before write and say that it didn't work for them, and then write a short time that it worked after all. So "the fix" has worked for a lot of people. Try it again. Seems at the end there is a requirement to "save". It's been a year or so since I looked at "the fix". Did you save after going through all that? Let us know. I'm about to put this on a surname web site. The last time you posted instructions, I followed them as best I could but it apparently wasn't good enough. It didn’t work. This time your instructions were presented so clearly only a nitwit would not be able to follow them. Woody, I’m a nitwit. It didn’t work. I did exactly what you showed, step by step. But I still don’t get postings of my submissions back. I POP my e-mail from Gmail into Windows Live Mail. But my postings don’t show up there, nor in my Gmail Inbox on the Web. TO ALL GMAIL USERS: Here is the link and fix I created that shows how to fix Gmail so that Gmail does not delete your distributed posts out of Rootsweb. (Gmail thinks it is spam because it appears your own sender address was spoofed.) http://www.minco-ok.com/temporary12/gen-newbie/ Before I found that fix on another site, I was getting paranoid thinking that the list admin was deleting all of my gmail posts. 3. Woody, I tried it again. Now I will just sit back and see what happens. There is no option for saving available, and when I clicked on the last selection you gave, the page that came up listed those addresses with filters – both the one I did tonight and the one from before were there, both saying never send to spam. (They were identical!) So it does look as though the previous attempt succeeded, but someone is not reading! Now, I will just have to wait and see if this comes to my in-box or not. Please do me a favor, and reply to this message when you get it, so that I can know it has already made it to the list, and I can stop watching for it (in case nothing happens again!) Thanks so much for your helpfulness – it is so appreciated.
