    3. Ellen: Sorry, I can't help with that. I am an Ancestry subscriber, but I haven't been using it much lately and haven't encountered the problem you describe. My impulse would be to try 'refresh" with that, too, but I have no suggestions beyond that one. When I pull up a page it is black (blank), I can hit the backward and or forward marked at the bottom of the page and it will appear with data and is white and can be read. Then hit the forward and or backward button to the page that I wanted in the first place and that page comes up and is in white and can be read.
