Merry Xmas all. In trying to absorb all the good information on how to's for Outlook and Thunderbird, I thought you all might be interested how I solved the "saving emails" from Outlook and others... I am so low teched that I keep doing what I have done since 1995 with my emails in Outlook. I saved them on a floppy!!!! I had a lot of floppies left when I got a laptop without the floppy drive. And those emails, photo's saved on the floppy. So, I just picked up from the last email I saved on my 3-1/2" floppy...I have them dated by year. To read them I bought for $14.95 floppy reader from SmartDisk @ www.smartdisk.com it reads floppies and older memory cards. Just plug it in a USB port and voila!!! So low tech that even I can do ...I have a hub and plug it in and am set to go to save or send...as a safe guard after thinking about it, I made copies of each floppy in case of failure. Carol
