Would there be anyone with some knowledge Navy Retirement. Through Ancestry today I found my uncle's exact dates of enlistment and retirement. But the years do not total out to 20. Would his duty during WWll and the Korean War have a bearing on his being able to retire before a full 20 years? Actually 6 months shy of 20 years. By the way WWll Records are free through Dec. 7th.
