    3. Wanda, when I purchased Windows 7, I had a floppy drive put in also. Some of the geek shops can add one for you. I wanted the floppy drive because I have a camera that takes floppies. The old ways are sometimes the best way. (I still have a cell phone that you can only talk on.) --  Bev Carlson of Minnesota that has no snow and the temp was a record 52 degrees

    3. Well, I thought that I had copied all my floppies before getting rid of my old computer. However, I recently found a file folder with floppies containing document copies from the archives in Germany. I think I probably have copies (I always made duplicate or triplicate disks) but am not sure. I probably just need to find someone nearby who still has a floppy drive and have them copy for me. Hate to buy an external floppy drive for a couple of disks. (but I have to know what they contain!). Except for space considerations, I should have kept my old Gateway XP for a reserve. It was a love but a space hog.
