For taking up the time of someone who was helping me. I did not realize the request was improper. to all that was offended by my actions I am truly sorry for taking up your time. I did appreciate the help I will try not to do this in the future. to all that was offended I am truly sorry Rudy
No one should have been offended, Rudy. The list is about helping and Les helped you. I hope you have gotten to the place where you want to be. What I wanted was to make sure anyone else who might want to do the same thing receives the same information. That's what help lists are all about. Merry Christmas! Rudy, There is no need to apologise. I was quite happy to help you. I only mentioned your name to let other members know that we were trying to sort out your problem. I was wondering why you had not got back to me, but figured you were just having christmas pudding. When you're ready, let me know, and we can continue to try and solve your problem. Just to keep other members up to date. Rudy installed Thunderbird successfully , but could not receive emails. It looks as though avast is blocking thunderbird. I have made several suggestions, but unfortunately diagnosing the problem is not simple. If anyone else can make a suggestion, please feel free to jump in.
