Somehow, my wife's full name is now showing on her Outlook email, both incoming and outgoing. Friends and family know her, and use, only her middle name, or her nickname and that is what we used when we set up our Outlook account. We have no idea how her full name came to be used----we certainly do not know how to change it. How do we restore her middle name and/or nickname to her Outlook email account? I have read, I think, every word under every menu heading on Outlook and have not found the answer. TIA. We appreciate any and all help. Fred, Sr.
Fred Click on "tools" at the top, then "account settings" then her account. Where it says "user name" put in whatever you want -- Susie, Sweetie Pie. . . . Also, click on "more settings" and where it says "type the name by which you wish to identify this account" and change it there as well. Also, check to see if you have a listing for her in your address book. If so, make sure it says what you want it to. See if that helps.
