My day began almost as early this year as that of my childhood/children's childhood. Grand daughter, Lexie, got her own laptop. I had told her mother I would walk her through getting it set up, as it is the same as the laptop I purchased in June. She called me around 6 and we worked on removing and adding the programs she needed. Thanks to George, GenNewbie, I had all the needed information. That took a few hours. Then called my son to wish him and his family a Merry Christmas but they were just getting up. Children are older so not the excitement and early risers. Time for cooking and eating. Too much of both. Now to eat all the leftovers. During the evening I called my brother and we had a very long conversation. Mostly about memories of Christmas in days gone by, food we had shared at the family table, our gardens and various friends. This conversation was the best part of my Christmas Day. I just hope all here had a Christmas as memorable as mine. Marilyn -- "If you don't get outside every day, even for a minute, you have not appreciated what God has done. It makes you grateful for our surroundings, and it starts your day differently." Johnny Cash
