    3. Hubby and I just celebrated his "Second Christmas" since his heart transplant. What a ride this has been. Three years on the waiting list and now 2 yrs. post-transplant. Outlook is good. All his biopsy's have been 'clean'. The Drs. say if he makes it to year 2 post-transplant chances are 98% he won't suffer from rejection. To remember this all started 5 yrs. ago........ my how things have changed! Two of our grand-daughters were just crawling babes at the start of our experience. Now they are 5 yrs.(soon to be 6) and a 6 yr. old - but added to this - are a two 4 yr. olds and a 2 yr. old - all of which hubby may never have known if things had turned out differently. Blessed are those who sign their donor cards as we are blessed to receive such a gift. *********** We spent Christmas day with two of our sons & their families. Throughout the day the little girls, individually, came up and crawled onto my lap until I was 'filled' with 3 little girls all sitting on Granny's lap all at the same time. Kisses (actually putzes, not kisses) were handed around, giggles shared, love stated, squeezes given and off to play again. Even Grandpa got his lap filled a time or two yesterday. Nice memories - could have a whole lot different. Shari
