    2. Yes, the popular Flip is discontinued, but still available per the Amazon link I provided. It looks like the Flip video camera cannot zoom at all, and has a fixed focus. My son has a Flip HD (high definition) and is using it to document our grandchild's growth. It's very simple and reliable, and he posts to YouTube frequently. Maybe someone else can recommend something with more advanced features. Woody ================== pezealogy@gmail.com writes: thnx, Woody, I was just talking to someone who told me to not stress over the file format. He said there is a plethora of software 'out there' so it really doesn't matter what format the camera records in. And we'll def need to buy some extra cards, my dau is going to Disneyland and I'm sure will do alot of movie taking. Our 'picture' camera does take movies, but the quality on one of the newer video cameras will be much better, better zoom. Our 'picture' camera won't zoom in and out as soon as the record button is pushed, a big draw back. Anyway, I thank you, Sir :) And I will check out the Flip cameras, forgot about them. melissa On Fri, Nov 4, 2011 at 2:55 PM, <BogusWoody@aol.com> wrote: > Melissa, > See > http://www.amazon.com/Flip-UltraHD-Video-Camera-Generation/dp/B0040702HA/ref =dp_ob_title_ce > This looks like it will get the job done.
